Senator Robert F. Kennedy was shot late in the evening of June 5, 1968.
On June 6th, Frank Mankiewicz announced his death to the world.
Over the years, he was a liberal activist, the president of NPR, worked on Senator McGovern’s campaign in 1972 and a few other things. He died in October 2014.
In the end, I remember him as the man who told us that Senator Robert F Kennedy was dead.
