We remember Audrey Hepburn (1929-93)

Edda van Heemstra Hepburn-Ruston, a.k.a. Audrey Hepburn, was born in Belgium on this day in 1929.......she died in 1993..........a very elegant lady and movie star, from "Sabrina" to "Roman holiday".

1970 and Kent State

We remember Kent State and the day that 100 National Guardsmen fired their rifles into a group of students, killing four and wounding 11.

It was very unfortunate.   In 1974, a federal court dropped all charges against eight Ohio National Guardsmen for their role in the students’ deaths.
