We remember Dennis Wilson (1944-1983)

Dennis Wilson was born on this day in 1944.    Along with his brothers Brian and Carl, they were The Beach Boys.    Dennis played drums and sang background vocals.    He sang lead on "Do You Wanna Dance", one of their many hits.

Dennis died in late 1983 in an apparent drowning accident.   Dennis also had a lot of addiction challenges in his life.

Not long ago, his son wrote a book called "Son of a Beach Boy".
