Happy # 91 to Petula Clark!

The wonderful and talented Petula Clark has a birthday today.......she was born in England on this day in 1932.  Petula is one of the most successful British female vocalists of our generation. Her hits include "Downtown", "My love" and "This is my song".

Can you believe that she is a year older? Where has all the time flown?  Maybe I need to go find me a CD of her many international hits.

Happy # 78 to Frida (Anni-Frid Lyngstad) of ABBA!

We say happy birthday to Anni-Frid Lyngstad who was born in Norway on this day in 1945.

In the 1970's, ABBA was one of the biggest musical groups in the world.  They band sold millions of records with their unique vocals and arrangements.

Frida and Agnetha Fältskog were the two young women who sang in ABBA. They were great vocalists and rather good looking too!

Happy birthday Frida! We love your songs!
