Democrats: Be careful what you ask for

We are watching the political equivalent of a blitz against President Trump.  In other words, they are throwing everything that they have at him.
My guess is that they are trying to make it difficult for many Republicans to continue their support.  They may also be hoping that a committee of wise GOP men walks over to the Oval Office and tell the President that it’s over, i.e. Nixon 1974!
A good example of this thinking may be Thursday’s editorial in the Dallas Morning News:
At some point, we won’t be alone in pointing out that the chaos Trump seems to relish creating is actually swamping his presidency.
Time will tell where all of this goes, but I think that Democrats are the ones who may end up losing big time.
Be careful, Democrats, and remember what happened after that famous recording in the bus was introduced during the 2016 election.
Wonder how many outraged and indignant Democrat women predicted what would happen?  My guess is that none of them did.
First, Donald Trump was elected president of the U.S. by many women who were willing to look beyond the character issue.
More importantly, the biggest casualties were Democrats:
a) Harvey Weinstein, the big friend of the Clintons and Obamas, was brought down, and there is apparently more coming, because of the new standards of “Me-too”;
b) Senator Al Franken, a big hero of the left, is now out of the politics; and,
c) Keith Ellison may be out of a job, too.  Even the DNC is apparently “distancing” itself from the Ellison story.
Now, they allegedly want to go after the Trump Foundation and the family.
Do they really want to throw the books at the Foundation and the family members?  My guess is that the Clintons would rather not see that because they have a Foundation in New York, too.
So be careful, Democrats.  You may get what you want!

Your PC insanity for the day................

Your PC insanity of the day:
"Lilly Diabetes has parted ways with driver Conor Daly ahead of his NASCAR debut after reports surfaced that his father, Derek Daly, a retired Indy 500 and Formula One driver, used the N-word during an interview in the 1980s."
First, we bring down symbols.  Now, we go after people because of something that their elders said.

This is crazy.  This is what PC is doing to us.

November 2007: Bush hatred is now beyond insanity!

Image result for bush derangement syndrome images
A post from November 2007

Check it out.

First, it was those country western girls and now it's the bridge girls. (Bush-bashing bridge babes buffaloed!)

Thank you girls. Thank you for telling us that you voted for the guy who carried 19 states and 20% of the counties. It must be nice to know that! After all, Bush got 51% of the popular vote in 2004 which is higher than any Democrat except for LBJ in '64. Clinton, Carter nor JFK ever got 51% of the popular vote!

Beyond Dixie Chicks and now the "Bridge Chicks", it must be embarrassing for the left to see what they have created. (See "Buck Fush" and the Left By Dennis Prager)

Over the last two years, I've had my share of discussions with Bush haters. What do have they common? They'd rather blame everything on Bush. It's all about Bush.

What are these idiots going to do when Bush comes back to Texas?

Rasmussen 44-44: Didn't someone tell me that there was a blue wave?

Funny....someone told me that there was a blue wave and then I see this:
"For the first time in months, Democrats and Republicans are tied on the Rasmussen Reports Generic Congressional Ballot...."
GOP and Democrats are 44-44% in the generic poll.

A day in the life of a Facebook user...................

But I thought that talking about Trump sparked the blue wave?

This is interesting: "Democrats’ fall strategy: Stop talking Trump".

According to the story, the Democrats want to talk about what we've come to know as "kitchen table" issues, or health care premiums or taxes or schools.  No impeachment, no Russia collusion, no porn stars....etc.

On the surface, it makes sense.  In other words, people have tuned out the daily scandal machine.  As a Democrat once said, the people obsessed with the Russia connection are already voting Democrat.

The challenge is this:  Can they get their base to talk about anything but Trump?  It will be difficult!

November 2007: Clinton 101 or Bill pardons and Hillary gets contribution!

Image result for bill and hillary clinton corrupt images

A post from November 2007:

It works like this.

First, President Clinton issues last minute pardons. Years later, the "pardonees" contribute to Hillary Clinton's campaign.

Check out this timeline:
"Three recipients of controversial 11th-hour pardons issued by former President Bill Clinton in January 2001 have donated thousands of dollars to the presidential campaign of his wife, Democratic front-runner Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., according to campaign finance records examined by ABC News, in what some good government groups said created an appearance of impropriety.

"It's not illegal," Melanie Sloan, executive director of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, told ABC News.

"But, of course, it's inappropriate and she should return the money. It does raise the appearance that this is payback." (Pardon Me?)
I guess that "pardonees" are people, too.

No one is suggesting that they don't have the right to pick up their lives and support candidates. However, I think that it's rather convenient that so many of them are contributing to the Hillary Clinton campaign.

Is it payback? I don't know for sure. However, it does not smell good.

Let me say it again. The Clintons are corrupt and they will do anything (or change positions) to win.

August 2008 show: A chat with Cassy Fiano, blogger

Cassy Fiano joined us on Saturday to review the Biden selection!

It's Obama-Biden! This is a good pick for Obama. It is also a recognition that BO needs a partner with foreign policy experience.

Cassy will review the state of the race! Also, who will McCain pick? It looks like Romney is the man. The Biden-Romney debate could be the highlight of the campaign.

August 2009: Hoven and deficits!

Image result for budget deficit clip art images

A post from August 2009

We've had Randall Hoven on our radio show before.

We've enjoyed his articles in The American Thinker. Check out his archive!

Today, Hoven has another good one: Worse and Worser
"In Reagan's eight years, 1981-88, the deficit averaged 2.4% of GDP, with the worst year being 6.0%.

Under George W. Bush, 2001-2008, the deficit averaged 2.0% of GDP, with the worst year being 3.6%.
Now let's look at CBO's forecast of Obama's deficits for 2009-2016.

The average deficit will be 6.3% of GDP, with a worst case of 13% and a best case of 3.9%.

And these are the rosy predictions, the June predictions -- before being updated in August as the baseline scenario was.
Do you get the size and endurance differences?

Obama's average will be worse than Reagan's worst single year.

Obama's best will be worse than Bush's worst single year.

Obama's average will, in fact, be worse than any year since 1930 except for World War II.

That means unprecedented in peacetime."
Well, I hope that you forward this one to all of those who used to complain about Bush's deficits!
