Amnesty by executive order & pathetic pandering insults the intelligence of Hispanics

What do you do when Dem majorities did not pass the "promised immigration reform" of the 2008 campaign?

Or when a current 53-47 Senate Dem majority does not put any version of immigration reform or The Dream Act to a vote?

Or you can't get any Dems to implement any of your immigration or Dream Act suggestions?

What do you do when there is massive apathy among Hispanos and most will stay home rather than vote to reelect Pres BO? (Voter registration down among Hispanics, blacks)

The answer is to panic, throw a "Hail Mary" pass and pander for votes.

Under our system of government, we change immigration policy with a vote in Congress.  This "amnesty" is wrong and should be challenged in the courts.

The bottom line is that we have a presidency desperately reading polls and realizing that reelection is very unlikely.  (Democrat Strategists To Obama: You’re In Trouble)

Again, immigration reform is a serious matter and should be done by Congress not politically motivated executive orders.

Mid-June surprises and disappointments with the Rangers

We spoke with David Busby and Carl Kunhardt about the Rangers.

My biggest disapppointment is Scott Feldman, the 17-game winner from 2009 who has been the "odd man out" in the starting rotation.  He began the season in the bullpen and now he is a starter.  Unfortunately,  Feldman has not pitched well.

My biggest surprise is Elvis Andrus's hitting.  We knew that Elvis could play shortstop but I don't remember anyone promoting his bat.  Elvis is hitting .288 and on a pace to steal 30 bases.  He is the perfect # 2 hitter to bat behind Josh Hamilton.
