How about a poll about red state Democrats?

(My new American Thinker post)

Our mindless game of polls is on full display again - a poll for this and a poll for that.

The big poll today is that everybody hates Washington but they hate the GOP more.

So what does it that mean?  Nothing!

It means nothing because most House GOP members will be reelected in 2014 and President Obama is not running for anything.  Who cares what they think of Speaker Boehner or Rep Pelosi?  They are safe.

But the story that no one is writing. or taking polls about, is red state Democrats.  They are the ones who will actually be asking voters to reelect them. They will have to explain their votes for ObamaCare!

Where are all of these red state Democrats?  What Sunday shows are they doing this week? Which one is defending ObamaCare along with Senator Reid or Senator Schumer?   Which one is scheduling President Obama for a trip promoting ObamaCare?

They are not on TV defending their vote for ObamaCare or taking questions at candidate meetings in Arkansas, Alaska and so on.

They are hiding in their offices and avoiding Obama like a plague.

That's your story or poll if anyone in the media really wants to find out where public opinion is going.

Dear President Obama: Fire somebody and show that you are in charge

(My new American Thinker post)

By any executive 101 standard, President Obama is failing and failing big:

1) Hold your subordinates responsible; and,

2) Make adjustments.

Speaking of accountability, let's start with Secretary Sebelius.  Why does this lady still have a job, especially after her hilarious appearance with John Stewart?

Let's look at Secretary Sebelius's performance, as Tom Bevan posted:

"Sebelius' department had 3½ years to prepare to implement the Affordable Care Act. No one ever suggested that commandeering one-sixth of the American economy would be an easy task. (Many Republicans suggested the opposite and were dismissed as killjoys for their efforts.) But after the debacle of the last two weeks, liberals and Democrats-not conservatives or Republicans-should be calling for Sebelius's head."

Life is not fair and it's not all Secretary Sebelius' fault.  However, she is charge!  It's her department.

This is Fast & Furious all over again.

The second point is executive skills, or the ability to look at something and make adjustments.

Why doesn't President Obama go on TV and make a statement along the following lines:

"My fellow Americans.  ObamaCare is a mess and it may take a lot more time to fix it.  Nobody knows. Therefore, let's give the experts a chance to fix the "glitches" and delay the implementation for one year."

President Obama will gain in two ways:

1) He will show the country that he's charge; and,

2) He will help red state Democrats who are drowning with ObamaCare.

Babalu post: “Las 5 mentiras de” ObamaCare

(My new Babalu post)

Step back for a minute and think of this scenario.
Imagine a private sector company releasing a new product or service based on so much faulty information?
Imagine story after story of potential customers not able to enroll because of computer errors?
What would happen to the executives of that company?  At the very least, they'd be fired by the CEO after the owners or shareholders rioted at the company headquarters.
What about the customers?  They'd be lining up for one gigantic class action lawsuit!
What about the media?  They'd be running 24/7 stories of another company taking advantage of customers.
What about the Democrats?  They'd be calling for new regulations or an investigation.  They'd bring the executives of the company to a congressional hearing for explanations.
Obama Care is more than "computer glitches".  It is a massive scam based on promises that will never be kept.
Scott Johnson of Power Line is one of my favorite pundits and today's post is right on target:
"Deception #1: universal coverage
Deception #2: no new taxes on the middle class
Deception #3: annual premium savings of $2,500
Deception #4: no increase in the deficit
Deception #5: you can keep your plan if you like it"
There is something very wrong in this picture.
We were promised that "everyone would be covered", "no new taxes except for those on the evil rich", affordable premiums, no impact in the deficit and that you could keep your current plan.
None of that is true.   "Mentira", "mentira" and more "mentiras"
And did I tell you that the computer system cost $634 million?
By the way, who got that contract?    Did they happen to make a nice contribution to the Obama campaign?
