Jim Perry was the other good pitcher in the family. His brother is Hall of Famer Gaylord Perry. Jim broke with the Indians in 1959 and won 18 in his second year. He was traded to Minnesota in 1963 and that's where he won the 1970 AL Cy Young: 24-12 with a 3.04 ERA. Perry retired with 215 wins and a 3.45 ERA. He was a very good pitcher.
