Europe needs a Gov Walker and Wisconsin's voters

Last Tuesday, Wisconsin's voters showed the world what political maturity is all about.  They rewarded Gov Walker and spanked the out of control public sector unions.

It was great to watch.  We just hope that the voters of Europe watched and learned something from it.

What we are seeing in Europe is a population that refuses to see that "the welfare state" is unsustainable.   Where is the money going to come from?

We are also watching wimpy politicians who won't take the "lollipop" from the voters. We just saw some of that in France where they lowered the retirement age to 60.

Speaking of the bailout, our stock market started the day well and then dropped during the day.  It closed 143 points down!   There is still confusion about size of the bailout and the details.  Let's hope that things clear up soon.
