The state of the GOP race after Minnesota, Missouri and Colorado

In politics, like sports, it's always better to win than to lose.  Therefore, Rick Santorum has the right to claim victory and declare himself as the alternative to Romney.

In reality, Minnesota, Missouri and Colorado did not change the primary or delegate count that much.

I do think that Newt Gingrich was the big loser because he did not win.  At some point, Gingrich has to show that he can win something beyond South Carolina.

Congratulations to Rick Santorum but it did not change the delegate count that much.  At the same time, Nate Silver is right that this nomination will go on for a while.
