88,000 reasons to confirm that the stimulus did not stimulate


The US economy took another step backward.  We created 88,000 jobs last month and the unemployment rate dropped to 7.6% because so many have dropped out:

"The share of the working-age population in the labor force, known as the labor force participation rate, fell to 63.3 percent, the lowest since May 1979. The average number of hours worked for all employees increased in March, while earnings stagnated."

It was not a good Friday for the US economy.
