Why hasn't Pres BO said anything about Pres Cristina Fernandez and Argentina?

We posted recently about Argentina and Repsol, the Spanish company.

We asked: Where is Pres BO?  Why isn't he speaking out for the rule of law and respect for foreign investment?

We are still waiting!

Perhaps Pres BO finds "the Kirchner way" and "class warfare" a bit familiar, or rather similar to what he learned in Chicago.  It sounds like BO & Christina are using the same speechwriter.  Or perhaps they are just translating each other's "blame the rich" speeches.

Check this out from Mary O'Grady of The Wall Street Journal:

"Nationalizations, particularly in the energy sector in Latin America, are nothing new. But the circumstances surrounding the Argentine grab of YPF may be. 

They demonstrate the special nature of kirchnerismo, an economic model that enriches friends of the government while driving the nation toward poverty."

We call it crony capitalism up here.  Or you can call it Solyndra.  You can call it whatever you want but this is what happens when the government gets its hand in the economy and takes care of its friends.  Again, can you Solyndra?
