Martinez broke with the Mariners in 1987 and developed into a super hitter over the next 18 seasons: .312 career batting average, 2,247 hits, 514 doubles, 309 HR & 1,261 RBI over 2,055 games. He also walked 1,283 times and retired with a super .418 on base pct.
Edgar was elected to The Hall of Fame in 2019.
