Maybe professor is the one who is really stupid now

Another week and more to talk about.

Over in China, President Obama is talking global warming as North America freezes down to North Texas.

Talk about being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

It reminds me of the time that a March 2009 global warming meeting was "snowed out" in Washington, D.C.

Over here, we have another video of a certain Professor Gruber, who made some rather "stupid" remarks about voters.

This is what he said:
ObamaCare architect Jonathan Gruber apparently doesn't think much of the intelligence of the American people.
A new tape has surfaced showing Gruber, once again, claiming the health care law's authors took advantage of the "stupid" American public.
The tape, played on Fox News' "The Kelly File," showed Gruber speaking at an October 2013 event at Washington University in St. Louis.
Referring to the so-called "Cadillac tax" on high-end health plans, he said:
"They proposed it and that passed, because the American people are too stupid to understand the difference."
What do we do now?

First, the House and Senate should put Professor Gruber under oath for an explanation.  Let's see who else in the White House thought that Americans were stupid.  Wouldn't you love to know?

Second, the creators of Obamacare are the ones who look stupid now, especially after this report:
With the Affordable Care Act to start enrollment for its second year on Nov. 15, some unpleasant surprises may be in store for some.
That's because a number of low-priced Obamacare plans will raise their rates in 2015, making those options less affordable.
On top of that, penalties for failing to secure a health-insurance plan will rise steeply next year, which could take a big bite out of some families' pocketbooks.
Third, 28 U.S. senators who voted for Obamacare are gone.  Do you recall that kind of "casualty level" with any other law passed by Congress?  I can't!  Wonder how many of these U.S. senators feel stupid today?

Last, but not least, the American people sent Professor Gruber, and others, a rather direct message on election day.  And the Supreme Court may blow up the law over "exchanges and subsidies."

Who is stupid now?

Let me paraphrase the Bee Gees: "I started a joke Which started the whole world crying But I didn't see That the joke was on me..."

I think that the joke is indeed on Professor Gruber!  The American people are very likely going to have the last laugh on this!
