We remember Hank Aaron who was born on this day in 1934 and died January 2021. Aaron hit # 1 in 1954 and # 755 in 1976. His record was eventually "broken" by Barry Bonds in 2007. Aaron still holds the records for most career RBI (2,297), most career total bases (6,856) and most career extra base hits (1,477). After retiring as a player, Aaron became one of baseball's first black executives, with the Atlanta Braves. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1982.
We say birthday to Roger Staubach, one of the best QBs ever, ws born on this day in 1942. He was drafted by Dallas in 1964 in the 10th round or the 129th overall selection that year. Roger broke with the Cowboys in 1969 but did not become the full time QB until 1971. He started 114 games with a 85-29 record. In the post season, Roger started 17 games with a 11-6 record. He played in 4 Super Bowls and won 2.
We say happy birthday to Barbara Hershey who was born in California on this day in 1948. Over the years, Barbara Hershey worked on several TV shows and films: "The Monroes" (1966), "With Six You Get Eggroll (1968), "The Baby Maker" (1970) and "Boxcar Bertha" (1972).

President Nayib Bukele of El Salvador, credited with driving down gang violence in the Central American nation, has been re-elected, Preliminary results released after 70% of votes had been counted showed him securing a second term by winning 83% of the votes.
He had already claimed victory before the results were announced. His popularity has soared following a crackdown on crime which drove down the country’s murder rate.
Under his presidency, El Salvador has been transformed from one of the most violent countries in the world to one of the safest in Latin America.
It’s a big victory, and President Bukele must focus on economic development to raise the country’s living standards. He can do so by looking for foreign investment, an easier task now that crime has been reduced so much.
