In my book ("Cubanos in Wisconsin"), I celebrate the bravery of the men and women who stood up to Castro's communist thugs. I remind the younger readers that they are connected to these brave individuals.
One of these men was Colonel Cornelio
Rojas.
In fact, Col Rojas' execution was shown on TV, an early sign of the ruthlessness and inhumanity of the regime that was about to take over in Cuba.
It is ugly
but it should be seen by everyone who values freedom and detests the
inhumanity of "mob rule".
The image of Che is not art, cool or hip. It is
the image of a criminal, a man who murdered many Cubans who dared to question
the legitimacy of the so called "revolution".
Sadly, too many in the West are just plain
ignorant or have bought into the "revolutionary meme".
Again, Che was a killer and please slap the next person who wears a T-shirt or anything else with his
image.
Remind the person that there is a daughter in Miami who watched her father murdered on live TV.
