We remember Keith Jackson who was born in Georgia on this day in 1928. He died in 2018.
Jackson began his career in 1952. From 1966 to 2006, he worked with ABC and called some of the biggest college football games ever. His last game was the 2006 championship game between Texas and USC.
As I recall, he also worked post-season baseball with Howard Cossell.
