Gallup published a year-end poll about public concerns........"government and immigration" are the top items.
How does this fit into the talk of border security?
It confirms why President Trump is willing to shut down the government over the border wall. He's probably betting that the public is so fed up with the immigration crisis that it will stand by him.
Furthermore, we understand now why the Democrats did not want their candidates talking about immigration in 2018.
