We remember President Bush and First Lady Barbara Bush on another anniversary of their wedding in 1945. They both died in 2018.
George H W Bush married Barbara Pierce of Maine after completing his military service. Then came a degree from Yale, the move to Texas, 5 children, an illustrious business career, the vice presidency under President Reagan and his own election to the presidency in 1988.
And Barbara was with him along the way! They were a wonderful couple.
