June 19, 1972:    The U.S. Supreme Court rules against Curt Flood in Flood v. Kuhn, denying Flood free agency as a baseball player......


1971 # 1 song this week:    We remember Carole King’s “It’s too late”, one of the best songs of the 1970's.  The B-side "I feel the earth move" also got lots of airplay.    The songs came from the LP “Tapestry”.
