Vizquel should join Aparicio in Cooperstown

In 2009, the Rangers decided to give Elvis Andrus, a 20 year old prospect, a shot at playing short stop everyday.
Omar Vizquel was brought in to play behind Andrus.  it was a great move!

We got to see Vizquel once more and appreciate just how great of a shortstop he was.

It's time for Vizquel to make The Hall of Fame
because the numbers are awesome:

"....his .984 career fielding percentage is the highest of all-time for a shortstop in Major League history
....On May 25, 2008, Vizquel became the all-time leader in games played at that position, passing Luis Aparicio.
Vizquel is the all-time leader shortstop in double-plays made. He remains second all-time (behind Aparicio) in hits recorded while playing shortstop.
....2,657 hits and 385 stolen bases".
Vizquel played 11 years in Cleveland and played in 2 World Series.   I can still remember an amazing play that he made against the Marlins in the 1997 Series.

Yes, Vizquel should join Aparicio in Cooperstown.
