Ian Kinsler, one of the best players ever to wear a Rangers uniform, was traded to Detroit a few months ago for Prince Fielder.
Frankly, it was a good baseball trade but it's always hard to say goodbye to a favorite Ranger.
From 2006 to 2013, Ian was a good second baseman who hit with power and always played hard. I had no complaints about Ian as a player. He played hard and gave the fans their money's worth.
A couple of weeks ago, Ian said some stupid things about his former team and GM Jon Daniels. They were unnecessary and made Ian look small, specially the one about the Rangers going 0-162.
We wish Ian the best in Detroit. Let's hope that Ian stays away from reporters or thinks before he makes any comments.
