It's hard to see a happy ending to Egypt and everything else in the Middle East.
I guess that things could magically resolve themselves but they could also get a lot a lot worse.
Time will tell but I'm betting that things will get worse before they get better. Christians are under attack. Syria is still burning next door. There are problems all over in the Middle East, from Iran to Iraq.
The biggest problem is that we look weak and confused. President Obama projects weakness and indifference toward complicated issues.
The bottom line is that I am very pessimistic.
