We've been complaining about the absence of foreign policy in this campaign. We understand that the economy is priority #1. At the same time, foreign policy is what super powers do and we are not doing it.
In fact, watching Sen McCain and Pres BO discuss foreign policy confirms why I voted for the Arizona Senator.
Bill Katz has a great post about this:
Here is the problem: A superpower can not avoid foreign policy issues or afford to kick the can forward hoping for the best. We need a president who will engage forcing policy issues, confront them and promote US interests as well as support our allies.

Bill Katz has a great post about this:
"In an interview with the Associated Press in Italy on
Saturday, the 2008 Republican presidential candidate criticized the man who won
that election for not aiding rebels in Syria, abandoning Iraq and Afghanistan,
and delaying tough decisions on Iran’s nuclear program."
Yes, Bill is right. Senator McCain has been talking foreign policy but Pres BO has been avoiding it or kicking the can forward to avoid decisions before the election. Here is the problem: A superpower can not avoid foreign policy issues or afford to kick the can forward hoping for the best.
