Pres BO finally met a journalist and they speak Spanish.
The Univision interview turned out to be a real surprise. In other words, it was a pleasant change to see journalists behave like journalists rather than worshipers of Obama.
My guess is that Pres BO was dumbfounded to see Spanish speaking reporters actually ask him difficult questions. When will the rest of the media follow the Univision example?
Is our national debt a national security risk risk? The answer is yes, specially if we keep borrowing 40 cents out of every dollar that we spend. Check our show below for an expanded discussion of this topic.
We keep hearing that Mitt Romney does not care about people or can't connect with the average Joe.
At the same time, we hear that Barack Obama connects with people and that everybody likes him.
Frankly, I don't buy these simplistic characterizations.
We got a pretty look at Romney after he released the 2011 tax performs. It turns out that Mitt Romney is a very successful, and charitable, man:
"Mitt Romney's presidential campaign is releasing a brief summary of 20 years of tax returns on Friday, and his accountant says it will show he gave 13.45 percent of his adjusted gross income to charities.
That's nearly twice the rate of President Obama, who according to his tax returns from 2000 through 2011 donated just less than 7 percent of his adjusted gross income to charities."
