Have you heard stuff like this? No one cares about the national debt. Or, the bill will come to future generations, and we won’t be around to hear them screaming about paying it, or the dollar devaluations that may be coming. Anyway, the federal debt has rarely been a political concern. I’ve heard some candidates talk about the “morality” of leaving all of this to future generations, but I don’t think we elected many of them. This debt issue is the ultimate in kicking the can down the road, if you know what I mean.
