Most of the time the book is better than the movie. However, we can not say that about "To kill a mockingbird". The book and the movie were both great!
She was born Nelle Harper Lee in Alabama and died a couple of days ago. The story of the book was apparently based on an incident that happened in the South in the 1930s.
Most people remember the book because of the movie with Gregory Peck.
