The answer is complex but let me give you a couple of ideas:
First, many of Pres BO's supporters are invested in a personality cult rather than a rational analysis of his policies. In other words, they will support him no matter what the results are.
Second, the media is corrupt and continues to push the narrative that the election is over and Pres BO was reelected.
Third, the polls are insane, specially the new Ohio poll of random voters. How can a serious newspaper do a poll of random voters at this stage of the campaign?
Who will win? I don't know but I hope that the Romney people understand that they are running against the media.
