Mexico is caught between preaching sovereignty and a public fed up with crime.
It would be better for President Sheinbaum to come clean and admit that these U.S.-Mexico operations were approved and stop all of the games about sovereignty. But this is Mexico, where standing up to the U.S., and specially Trump, is part of the game.
