Andy Pettitte won 256 games over a very successful pitching career. He played 15 years with the Yankees and the other 3 with the Astros. He went 19-11 in the post season.
We learned today that Andy will be inducted to the Texas Sports Hall of Fame. He was born in Deer Park, Texas and attended San Jacinto College in Houston.
Congratulations to Andy Pettitte. I hope that he is given serious consideration for Cooperstown. After all, how many guys with 256 wins are not in the HOF?
