Back in 2005, Pres Bush gave the first State of the Union of his second term. He spoke about the amazing Iraqi elections and Social Security reforms.
It turns out that Pres Bush was right. Social Security had a looming $32 trillion shortfall in August 2016. That's a lot of money!
I think that it may be a good idea to reconsider Pres Bush's 2005 reforms!
Sooner or later, a US President & Congress will have to deal with Social Security or other programs. In this case, the sooner the better, specially for those of us who believe in saving the program.
