No surprise that Mookie Betts and Christian Yelich were the AL and NL MVPs. They had great seasons and contributed much to their team's success.
Betts was solid from day one and ended up winning the AL batting title. Yelich was great down the stretch pushing Milwaukee into the post season.
Yelich led the NL with .326 and Betts the AL with .340.
By the way, is this the first time that the AL & NL batting leaders won the MVP the same year? I can't recall the last time.
