Since coming to Texas in 2014, Choo has been a reliable hitter with a great eye at the plate. He was a big part of the 2015 & 2016 AL West titles.
Choo was just selected to the AL All Star Team and it was a good choice: ".293 with 52 runs scored, 17 home runs and 42 RBIs in 86 games. He has a .399 on-base percentage and a .504 slugging percentage."
Choo also set a club record on Sunday for reaching base in 47 consecutive games.
Texas will probably move Choo later this month as part of the rebuilding program. I hope that Choo goes to a team and enjoys post season success in 2018.
