The NRA will bring their dollars to Dallas this weekend. According to news stories:
“The NRA meeting was booked in 2012,” said Stephanie Faulk, Director of Communications for Vist Dallas. That's a lot of money. That's also a lot of hypocrisy from the Dallas opportunist politicians who criticize the NRA Convention. How much of those $ 3.3 million in taxes are they willing to give up?
“The event will draw approximately 80,000 attendees for almost 22,000 room nights.”
Thousands of hotels rooms are booked through the weekend and people are expected to dine in local restaurants.
According to Visit Dallas, the convention will produce almost $24 million in direct business sales and a total economic impact of over $42 million, which supports 6,800 jobs and provides $3.3 million in local taxes.
