Two weeks ago, our bishops wrote a letter protesting the Obama Administration's HHS mandates.
It was another power grab from this White House, as Michael Gerson called it:
"Both radicalism and maliciousness are at work in Obama’s decision — an edict delivered with a sneer."
It was another indication that Pres BO truly sees too many of us as those people "who cling to our guns and religion".
Stephen P. White is a fellow in the Catholic Studies Program at the Ethics and Public Policy Center in Washington, D.C.. He wrote something very profound about the modern Dem party:
Between its recent showing in Hosanna-Tabor and this HHS nonsense, the Obama administration seems intent on accelerating that trend.
We've seen this anti-religion current in the Dem party. It has really expressed itself in the Obama administration.
It took a lot of courage to write that letter and we should show our support the next time that you go to mass or visit the church. Tell your priest that you support what the bishops did!
We've said that 2012 is a critical election. I think that many of our bishops and priests instinctively understand that very well!
