A few years ago, I watched a video of the old Negro Leagues. One of the key characters of the leagues was Buck O'Neill, a player, a manager and now the de facto ambassador of the Negro Leagues.
Buck O'Neill and Tommy Lasorda are baseball's current goodwill ambassadors. It is beyond belief that O'Neill is not a member of the HOF!
P.S. O'Neill died in 2008.
