We learned that Dave Nelson passed away in 2018. Dave was born in Oklahoma on this day in 1944.
His career included playing for the Senators/Rangers in 1970-75, an All Star selection in 1973 when he stole 43 bases and batted .286.
Recently, he was with the Brewers doing media and PR work.
