Let me add Jeff Kent to the mix: .290 career batting average, 377 HR and 1,518 RBI. He was the 2000 MVP.
He was a very tough out and had 90 RBI or more for 8 years in a row. He did all of this as a second baseman, a position not usually known for this kind of power.
