Jack Morris and Alan Trammell, great Hall of Fame selections

Jack Morris and Allan Trammell arefinally in The Hall of Fame, as we were happy to hear from MLB today:   
Named on 14 out of 16 ballots, Morris was a five-time All-Star and three-time World Series champion over 18 MLB seasons, as well as the 1991 World Series MVP for the Twins. 
Trammell, who was a six-time All-Star, four-time Gold Glove Award winner and a World Series MVP in the 1984 Fall Classic, was named on 13 of the 16 ballots.
Morris was one of the best pitchers in the AL:   254 wins, 175 complete games, 7-4 in the post-season.    He beat the Braves in game 7 of the 1991 World Series with a brilliant 10-inning complete game.

Trammel played his entire career in Detroit: .285 batting average, 2,345 hits, 185 HR & 1,003 RBI.

Morris & Trammel were on the 1984 Detroit Tigers who won the World Series.   They are two great selections all around:
