Cheers for Scott Walker

My favorite moment, and there were many on election night, was hearing that Scott Walker had been reelected in Wisconsin.

Walker's victory was important for 3 reasons:

1) He was target #1 for the Democrats and public sector unions.   The opposition spent a lot and threw everything at him but he won anyway, as reported by Huffington Post:
"National Democrats also came in to help Burke, with campaign appearances from Obama and the first lady, as well as former President Bill Clinton.
Burke put $5 million of her own money into the race, and outside groups gave millions to the effort to boost Walker.
According to the Wisconsin Democracy Campaign, it's likely that more than $60 million was spent on the race."
 2)  Walker's victory will encourage other governors to tackle the excesses of public sector unions.    Keep an eye on Illinois where a new GOP governor will try to implement reforms.

3) Walker's victory puts him in a great spot to run for president in 2016.  He is the ultimate success story.     I believe that Walker will be on the ticket, one way or another.
