This is not the economy that Obama promised at the 'si se puede' rally

(My new American Thinker post)

The Obama administration has a very bad case of "no se puede" or very little to tell Hispanics almost a year after reelection.

We are in the 5th year of the Obama economy and it's been "muy malo" for Hispanics and minorities in general, as Stephen Moore writes:

"The highest jobless rates by far are for key components of the Obama voter bloc: blacks (12.6%), Hispanics (9.4%), those with less than a high-school diploma (11%) and teens (23.7%)."

Add to this the failing public schools in minority districts. These schools could use reforms but President Obama continues to put the teachers' unions over the kids.

A bad economy, lousy public schools and indifference toward Latin America add up to a crisis in Hispanic communities across the country.

Do you understand now why the Obama administration is distracting minorities with the "photo ID" & Voting Rights campaign?

What else are they going to tell Hispanos? The theme of this administration can be reduced to 3 simple words:  "No hay trabajos"  (it means there are no jobs)

We repeat that this is not the economy that candidate Obama promised at the euphoric "si se puede" rally!
