Can they get 60 votes? Not yet!

As of today, the Senate immigration bill does not have 60 votes.

According to Power Line, Sen Cornyn of Texas wants to introduce a border security amendment to make it easier for the bill to get to 60 votes.  We don't know if Sen Reid will allow it.  My guess is that it won't get 60 votes without the aforementioned amendment.

So the bill is up in the air.  We may have a better idea by the end of the week.
