A word about Cuba and health care

We spoke with Martha Diaz Rondón, former "Dama en Blanco" (Ladies in white) & Betsy Gonzalez, human rights activist in South Florida.

They are both the founders of Manos Solidarias.

We discussed the state of the opposition in Cuba and Martha shared a few personal observations about health care in Cuba.

First, It's interesting to hear about the lack of medical supplies and facilities in Banes, a town of 90,000 people in eastern Cuba.

Second, it was also fascinating to hear how Cuba has sent medical specialists to Venezuela denying many in the island of their expertise!
