Following the Cowboys rather than watching former Pres Clinton

It's a tough night for a convention when we are doing a radio show and watching the Cowboys play the Giants in the NFL opener.  Let's not forget that the first place Rangers are in Kansas City and carefully marching into another post-season. (Update: Texas beat KC)

So let's talk about those Cowboys.  This is such a tough team to analyze.  Will they go 8-8, 10-6 or 6-10?  Frankly, I don't know because there are huge questions marks all around.  (Update: Cowboys beat NY Giants)

In the past two years, the Dallas Cowboys have proven me wrong.  I predicted success and the Cowboys disappointed us twice.  Maybe they will do better this year since I am not predicting anything big.

Over in Charlotte, the Dems are having their convention and the TV ratings are not making the advertisers happy.  To be fair, the GOP audience was down too but a little bit better.   Maybe we should bring back the "smoke-filled rooms".   They were exciting and suspenseful and these modern conventions are not.  They are just "infomercials" and the Dems do not have a good product to sell this time around.
