Why do we need a constitution? We have Barack "Hugo Chavez" Obama!

We all learned in 7th grade that the US is a nation of laws.  We have a constitution and this is how it reads:

"Article 1, Sec. 8 of the Constitution, which enumerates the power of Congress, states that "Congress shall have the Power To... establish an [sic] uniform Rule of Naturalization."

Congress has passed numerous laws pertaining to immigration and naturalization, including laws requiring the deportation of illegals.

The role of the President, according to Article II, Sec. 3, is to "take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed."" (AT)

In other words, we have a president who has decided to "create" his own immigration laws to appeal to a group that he desperately needs to show up in November.

Why do we need a constitution?  We have Obama.

My guess is that Pres BO's executive overreach will be challenged in the courts.

Beyond that, Pres BO has destroyed any real chance of Dems and the GOP reaching any kind of a bipartisan solution to illegal immigration.

You can forget "guest worker" visas.  You can also forget any "Dream Act".  You can forget any of that happening as long as Pres BO is in The Oval Office.  He has poisoned the water and it will take a long time for many of us to get over this kind of heavy handed move.

Pres BO is so politically desperate that he has thrown the Constitution under the bus so that he can show "some hispanos" that he cares about them.

This is very unfortunate.  Pres BO's decision has angered those of us who were serious about finding a rational and humane solution to the problem.

At the end of the day, Pres BO has shown no respect for the rule of law.
