Weren't we supposed to be "loved" around the world once BO became president?

Don't blame me!  I voted for McCain!  I never fell for the "hope and change" garbage!

I was always very skeptical of a man who caused people to irrationally jump and scream "yes we can"!

I guess that I always assumed that governing would be a lot more difficult than that!  (Just ask all of the "hispanos" who are recovering from the "si se puede" morning after feeling!)

Peter Wehner nailed it this morning:

"In Henry IV, Glendower says, “I can call spirits from the vasty deep.”

To which Hotspur replies, “Why, so can I, or so can any man; but will they come when you do call for them?”

Obama has learned the hard way that he, like any man, can call spirits from the vasty deep — but often they will not come.

And what then?"

Indeed!

Candidate BO, and now Pres BO's problem is two fold:

1) He had zero foreign policy experience.  He was a first term US Senator (2 years into the job) who spent most of his time selling books, giving speeches and telling a lot of people what they wanted to hear.

2) BO's supporters (a.k.a. "yes we can screamers") got drunk on "change" believing that the world hated Bush because he was Bush.

In fact, the world hated Bush because he was the president of the US, or the man who went to the UN and told them to stop passing Iraq resolutions that no one meant to enforce.

Bush was also the man who told Europeans what they didn't want to hear about the threat of terrorism.

So here we are!  They are burning Obama effigies in the Middle East and no one has a clue of what he stands for or willing to defend.

Again, don't blame me!  I warned you in 2008 that this "yes we can" fix would not end well!
