2021 like 1984?

For many of us, 1984 is the year that President Reagan came within 3,700  votes in Minnesota of winning 50 states.   Then there is the other 1984, the famous book about the future.

In this context of the cancel culture, is it any surprise that "1984" is back in the best seller list?   Maybe it's a coincidence or maybe some Americans are reading this from the book:
“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.”
We will survive this madness.  The Democrats are clearly overreaching, as a stunning Rasmussen poll about President Trump (49% approval) showed yesterday.   Fasten your seat belts and stand up to the thugs because what they really fear is that the 74 million who voted for President Trump will return for sure in 2022.
