Whatever happened to Mary Hopkin?

Mary Hopkin was born in Wales on this day in 1950.  She hit the music charts with a big bang in the fall of 1968.

Her first song "Those were the days" became one of the biggest hits of the year and the decade.   It may have been the first Apple Records' single to chart in the US.

Her second single was a Paul McCartney tune called "Goodbye".

Mary Hopkin had a very brief career. I loved her voice and style.

Where is Mary Hopkin now?  I don't know. I hope that she is doing well and in good health.
