Hall of Famer:  We say happy birthday to George Brett who was born in West Virginia on this day in 1953.  Brett broke with the Royals in 1973, became a regular in 1974 and the rest is history:  .305 career batting average, 3,154 hits, 1,596 RBI & 3 batting titles.   Hall of Fame 1999.
