We remember Rita Hayworth (1918-1987)

We remember Rita Hayworth who was born Margarita Carmen Cansino in New York on this day in 1918.  She died In 1987.

Many years ago, she made "Blood & Sand" in Cuba.  The movie told the story of Juan Gallardo who rose to the top finding fame and fortune as a bullfighter then fell on his face.     The stars were Tyrone Power, Linda Darnell and Rita Hayworth. 

It is a great movie and I just learned that it was filmed in Mexico.
